festive movies - click and collect

At less than an hour long, Click and Collect is a feel good Christmas film, with a fairly self-explanatory premise. With Andrew taking on a bit of a Christmas scrooge role, compared to his Christmas-loving neighbour Dev, they go on a road trip to get Andrew’s daughter the #1 item on her Christmas list.

What is Click & Collect about? – Synopsis

Not one that’s suitable for little ears, Andrew and Dev make the 4.5 hour road trip from Bradford to Carlisle to find his daughter’s dream sparkle unicorn. But the trip isn’t as easy as it should be, as you’d expect from a comedy.

Review

Quick and cheerful, this is a good comedy to remind you of the Christmas spirit – particularly if you have any scrooge’s in your life! Quick reminder of the value of walking a mile in someone else’s shoes, and doing all you can to make those around you happy at Christmas.

So, is Click & Collect a good movie?

Yes, absolutely. It’s BBC-made, so cheap and cheerful, but with “The Office” co-creator Stephen Merchant and “People Just Do Nothing” co-creator Asim Chaudhry starring – where can you go wrong?
