While this isn’t the best film possible, if you’re running low on options and simply want something new – it’s not too bad for some background noise while doing the wrapping.
What is A Great North Christmas about? – Synopsis
Workaholic attorney, Caroline North, is prepared for yet another lonely Christmas. But when her two best friends surprise her with a ski vacation in the charming town of Prince George, Canada, Caroline finds herself swept away in the pursuit of winter sport… and just possibly, the promise of a little Christmas romance.
A Great North Christmas – Review
Meh? It’s a small town romance, she’s a big city lawyer – which at least is good ‘powerful female’ representation. That said, the plot isn’t overly original, I don’t feel like it enacts much of an emotional response, and some characters are downright annoying. As such, this unfortunately gets my 1/5 “did not finish” rating.
If you disagree with this – maybe I’ve been a bit harsh? Feel free to leave a comment!
Is A Great North Christmas worth watching?
No, I would give this one a pass. While it might be OK for background noise or if you’re running out of options, it’s really just time you’ll never get back.
